Tramway. — The fine weather this week huh allowed the variona Contractors to make good progress with tfte work in theii eh irge. Butler's Spur is finished, the whole of the rails are laid, and the tunnel is completed. The work remaining to bo finished is about nine chains of balloting, erection of break gear and frames, and the points in connection with the various stations on the line. The end of the pivsonc tnv/nth' should (weather permitting) make an accomplished fact of one of the biggest undertakings of its kind in New Zealand.
