G. S. O'Halloran reports: — At my weekly sale on Saturday last the attendance was good, considering the wretched weather. Fowls In demand at fair prices, very few offering. Tea, 121b boxes, 18s to 21s ; Potatoes (Canterbury), from £5 per ton ; Lard, 6d to 8d per lb ; Butter, first quality in demand, no sale for inferior sorts ; Bacon, 8d to lOd per lb. The trees, shrubs, Ac, from Mr Mason's Nursery, Waikato, brought average prices, the whole lot, however, was not sold. The balance will be offered this day.
