ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
MOTOR CYCLE FATALITY. HAMILTON, Dec. 23. A. youth named Edwin Tyson, whose parents live at Eureka, was found lying unconscious on a road last night with a motor cycle alongside him. He was conveyed to the Waikato hospital, where he • was found to be suffering from severe head injuries. An operation was immediately performed, but he died at 3 oi’clck this morning. FOUND DEAD. AUCKLAND j Dec. 23. An aged man named Isaac Smyth, who was unmarried, and living with his married brother at their farm at Waitakere, wa,s found dead in his bed this morning. He has been unwell for some time and has been undergoing treatment. An inquest will be held. DROWNING FATALITY. t This day. Percy Stitt, about 25 years of gge, was drowned at Castlecliff this morning. Deceased was a visitor from Wellington, where he was employed in the G.P.O. (Deceased was a returned soldier, and was known in Taihape, having acted as an insurance agent here after his return from the front. His people reside at Wanganui, and he was visiting them for the holidays).
