Farrow is ill, and the police are guarding him at his residence at Hastings. Orotch, a director, has also been arrested ana charged at "the Mansion House with Hart, the accountant, for circulating a false bal-ance-sheet, and conspiring with Farrow to induce persons to advance moneys. * The .Public , Prosecutor's counsel said that the bank was hopelessly insolvent and there had been a heavy annual loss in trading in the last nine years amounting in the aggregate to upwards of a million, yet ~- the accounts were manipulated to J show a heavy profit. The failure was due to unsound methods of finance and reckless trading, which must have resulted badly at any period and in any conditions. The men were remanded for three weeks, and were bailed, Orotch - in £40,000 and HaTt in £20,000. FARROW REMANDED. Received 10 a.m. I LONTOON Dec. 22. .
