LONDON, Dec. 13. In the amateur biliards championship, at the first session. Hooper (Australia) scored 500, and Christey 130. UNITED STATES TRADE. Received 10.50 a.m. NEW YORK, Dec. 14. It is announced that the United f States’ foreign trade for the year ending 30th June ; 1920, totalled 13,349,000,000 dollars of which 7,950,000,000 were exports. Vessels 'Under the American flag number 28,183 with a gross tonnage of 16,324,000. Received 10.50 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 14.. Hooper seemed to tire towards the end; possibly due to the after-effects of influenza. Christey is not the player he was when champion. The real test will be when Hooper meets Fry, who is in fine form lately. Playing a friendly game with Hooper Pry re* cently scored 480 in' four breaks. The Sportsman says Hooper is farabove the ordinary standard of amateur form and showed rare confidence with ivory balls. He mastered his big handicap surprisingly well.
