Professor Charles Richet, the well-' known French physiologist, has just made an 1- interesting communication concerning experiments with ixoCL-erobc-'s and antiseptics. As a result of the experiments he affirms that microbes become accustomed to a particular antiseptic, and thrive upon it and reproduce rapidly. Professor Richet concludes that when an anatiseptic has not been very successful in the treatment of a wound the best, thing to do is to change it and to substitute another.
