Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd. •report having received the following cablegram from their London House underrate of 7th December: "Wool sataNJjpened, number of buyers is large, competition very restricted and selection is poor: AboirV 20 per cent. was sold. As compared with last sales closing rates, merino and fiae . crossbred wools 10 per cent, to IS.'per fig cent, lower, when sold. Crossbred /'. wools medium quality unchanged. Crossbred coarse, unsaleable.''
