A WARNING TO RUSSIA. TROOPS BEING SENT. Received 8.45 a.m. - # TOKIO, Deo. 8. The Nichinichi (newspaper) states that the Thirteenth Japanese Division Is at Nikolisk under orders to prepare for eventualities. Major-General Shiragu, Chief of Field Communications, has issued a general warning addressto the Russians, against attempts to Interfere with the system of communications.
‘ ‘ BATTLE SHIPS ARE USELE SS. ’ ’ SIR PERCY SCOTT’S VIEWS. Received 8.45 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 8. Sir Percy Scott, interviewed, said: "Battleships are useless. They were kept in part during four years of war and when taken out were treated as glass and guarded by whole- flotilla of destroyers. Had the German submarine officers been as good as the English, they would have gone into Sc.Plow and sunk the lot. If we build battleships, we will have to buircr nurses for them. V
