BOLSHEVISM IN TURKESTAN. Received 9.30 a.m. DELHI, Dec. 3. Advices from Turkestan state that the Bolsheviks have issued a proclamation ordering all women to register themselves for national service. Mohammedan women are also to be forcibly unveigled. Bolshevik female orators are urging the women to dessert their husbands unless given full liberties. , T
THE PERSIAN CAMPAIGN. ENORMOUS WASTE OF MONEY. Received 11.5 a.m. LONDON, Bee. 3. The Daily Express correspondent at Bombay states that an article in the V Times of India'' exposes an enormous waste of money in the East Persian campaign, the cost whereof is estimated at one hundred millions ster ling-. Examples quoted are the luxurious encampment at Turbedtihaidari, eighty miles from Meshed, which cost £IOO,OOO. It" was discovered that it was built on private grounds, where upon the owner was paid preposterous compensation. -The profits of road building and camel contractors would make multi-millionaires" green with envy.
