TRANSPORT ORGANISATION A BIG AMALGAMATION. Received 10.20 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 2. A National Confeence of the delegates of nineteen Unions affiliated with the Transport Workers' Federation has decided in favour of an amalgamation into one big Union, embracing all transport workers, dock workers, waterway workers, and road workers including clerical and so-ealled general workers. Tlie amalgamation, which must be conrlrnuTd by a ballot of the Unions, is of great importance, and it especially aims at st-ren« rthening flihe Triple Alliance.
