A preliminary meeting of the Commission appointed to make recommendations as to the number and distribution of totalisator permits for , the next racing season was held to-day. Mr Earl, K.C., of Auckland, was chairman. It was decided that the ceedings of the Commission should not be opfen to the public. \ FEILDING RACES. FIRST DAY’S RESULTS. FEILDING, This day.
