ENGLAND v. QUEENSLAND. BKISBANE, Nov. 28. The cricket match, England v. Queensland, began yesterday on the, Exhibition Ground: in glorious weather Seven thousand spectators were present. The wicket was good and hard. Queensland batted first. The bright feature of their innings was the stand of Moore and Oxenham. Moore hit six fours and one six in 104 minutes. Queensland's first innings closed for 186. Russell and MakepenrCe went in first j for England, and faced the bowling i attack of McAndrew and Ayres. O'Connor smartly snapped up Makepeace behind the wicket. When the stumps were drawn for the day the English score was 71 runs for one wicket.. Scores: QUEENSLAND.—First Innings.
