THE GREEK SITUATION.

ANGLO-FRENCH AGREEMENT. Received 10.30. a.m. LONDON, Nov. 29. A further conversation between M. Leygues and Mr Lloyd George leg to substantial rapprochement, of AngloFrench views regarding the Greek situation and permission to Constantino to re-ascend Throne is looming up. as likely to be a fact, provided the heads of the Germanophile Party are removed from power and public posts. The Allies, moreover, would continue to assist Greek financiers, a* the same time retaining their control. The foregoing are the proposed British conditions under which Greece would be allowed to re-attain the advantages of the Treaty of Sevres; otherwise like Smyrna, the control of which had been entrusted to Greece, will either return to Turkey or be internationalised.
