Leygues and Mr Lloyd George have agreed that Smyrna mbst not revert to the Turks, and, subject to Signor Sporza’s concurrence, have included the idea of establishing an international regime, wherein which England, France and Italy will participate as well as America, if the latter desires. Moreover, Holland having important material interests in the region, might also be asked to join.
