MR. S. M. LITCHFIELD. WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr. S. M. Litchfield, aged 72, formerly chief auditor of the Bank of New Zealand, is dead. Mr. Litchfield was born in Adelaide, and - arrived at Auckland in 1869. He joined the Bank of New Zealand as a cleric ME. P. P. WEBB. WELLINGTON, This Day. The death is announced of Mr. P. P» Webb, until lately deputy AuditorGeneral. Deceased was a noted athlete, and was a member of the first New Zealand football team that toured Australia; also a prominent rifle shot and oarsman. His age was 06 years.
