IMPORTANT CONFERENCES. Received 10.30 e.m. WASHINGTON, Nov. 23. Conferences between President Harding and many prominent Americans concerning thte United Stated foreign relations will, it is understood, begin at Marion on 13th December, and last until February. It is understood that Democrats, as well' as 86publicans, will be invited, including Messrs Taft, Hughes and Root, ann J Senators pfcnojij, I Johnson, . Borah Lodge, Shields, and Pomefane. It is understood! that these men represent the various views on tine League controversy, and it is expected that after President Harding recei-.es the v individual opinions cf his confreres, he will draw up a plan for the settlement of the League controversy, wnicli will be presented to the S/enate in the President-elect’s first address before Congress.. ,
