At the first meeting of the Bologna Municipal Council, three bombs were thrown in front of the Municipal Palace, and an unknown man fired eight shots in the direction of the Minority Liberals. Two councillors were killed instantaneously, and pandemonium reigned for several hours, with the result that eight were killed and sixtyfour injured.
