BANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL. EREWHON RIDING LOAN. PURSUANT to the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,” the Rangitikei County Council Hereby gives public notice that such. Council proposes to raise a Special Loan of £40,000. (a) The particular purpose for which the loan is required is the construction of a public work within the Erewhon .Riding of she Rangitikei County and comprises the formation of roads the metalling of roads for the first time, the erection of a bridge over the Rangitikei River on the Moa-Tvhango-Napier Road, the erection of a bridge over the same river on the Matawhero Road and the acquiring of machinery and plant necessary for the carrying out of such public WOK. (hi) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is £40,000. (c) In order to provide for the repayment of the loan it is proposed to set aside annually a sinking fund os' One per centum of the amount of the loan, and in order to secure such sinking fund together with the interest and all other charges payable in respect of such loan, it is proposed to mnkc and levy an an ana. recurring special rate of One Penny and onefourth of a penny (l|d) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) - of all rateable property situate within the Erewhon Riding of the Rangitikei County. The loan shall be raised by debentures payable from the date of issue. (d) It is propose I to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund for the first year.
