ROTORUA, Nov. 15. A large meeting of natives was he!cr at Te Awahou on Thursday to discuss the questoin of the purchase of the inland *lakes by the Government and other matters. Mr Veitch has telegraphed to the Minister of. Immigration, strongly recommending imminent action to prevent Indians from coming to New Zealand.
