EREWHON RIDING LOAN. - PURSUANT to i the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,” the Raugitikei County Council hereby, gives public notice that such CbUhclL proposes to raise.-a Special Loan of £40,000. ** (a) The particular purpose for which the loan is required is the construction of a public work within the Erewhon Riding of the Rangitikei County and comprises the formation of roads the metalling of Toads for the first time, the erection of a bridge over the Rangitikei River on the Moa.-whango-Napier Road, the erection Of a bridge over the same river on the Matawbero Road, and the acquiring of j machinery and plant necessary for the I carrying out of such public worse, i (b) The sum proposed to be borrowled for such purpose is £40,000. j (c) In order to provide for the repayment of the loan it is proposed to I set aside annually a sinking fund OS? j One per centum of the amount of the loan, and in order to secure such sinking fund together with the interest and all other charges payable in respect of such loan, it is proposed to make and lety an annul, recurring ! special rate of One Penny and onefourtb of a penny (l|d) in the pound sterling upon 'the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) - of ail rateable property situate within the Erewhon Riding of the Rangitikei County. The loan shall be raised by debentures payable ywrs from the date of issue (d) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinkifig fund for the first year. w . ■ HAROLD H.
