WOMAN WITH BULLET IN HEAD. CHRISTCHURCH, Kov. 8. Yesterday morning Mrs F. Malaquin, a married woman, aged 20, was removed to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from a bullet wound in the head. The matter - was not reported to the police until the evening'; The woman’s condition is reported to bo satisfactory, but the bul'et has not yet been extracted. There is a good deal of mystery attaching to the affair. The husband states that the shooting was purely accidental, and says the explanation he gave to the police was accepted as satisfactory. Neighbours state that Mr and Mrs Malaquin lived very happily.
