MOAWHANGO COLLIE CLUB.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The annual general meeting of the above club was held in Mr Batley’s Hall,, Moawhango,, on Saturday. November 6th. There were a good muster of doggie men present, some of them travelling thirty miles to be present at the meeting. An apology was received from the President, G. W. Batlcy Esq., who was unable to be present, but kindly forwarded his donation of £lO 10/ to the club’s fund.
Mr F. E. Cottrell, was unanimously elected to the chair. The balance-sheet was read by the secretary and showed a profit cf just on £3O. A: P. Batley Esq. was unanimously elected Patron of the Club; and G. W. Batley, Esq., President. VicePresidents were elected, also one of the strongest committees the club has ever had. The forthcoming trials should rank among the best in the North Island, and the prize money and trophies should induce competition, even from the South Island.
