| HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES: WELLINGTON, This day. * The House met at 11 a.m. Replying to Mr Sullivan, Hon. Lee said that during the recess he would take into consideration the question of initiating a propaganda campaign to popularise the. products of our secondary industries, as has been done in Australia. Replying to Mr Isitt, Hon. Nosworthy said he could not take steps to prohibit the importation of egg pulp until he 'could be satisfied that there were ample supplies of fowl feed in the Dominion to encourage the extension of the poultry industry. Replying to Mr McCallum, Mr Massey said he hoped to give the House an opportunity to consider the Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Act this sesi sion, but he could not' afford to give it very much time. Replying to Mr Nash, Mr Massey said it was not intended to relmpose the duty on cement at present. Mr Massey said a telegram from the Secretary of State for the Colonies 'outlining the proposal to bury an unknown soldier in Westminster Abbey at 11 o'clock' on the morning of November llth in connections, .with, the observation of Armistice Day.. ceremonies. At the moment of the burial it was proposed to observe two minutes' complete silence, and it was hoped that a similar act of respect would be observed all over the Empire. Mr Massey said the Department of Internal Affairs proposed to ask the people of the Dominion to cease work at the appointee time in accordance With the request. The question of asking the churches to hoI3 religious services on Armistice be considered. - •
