BIG FOREIGN PURCHASES. Received 9.50 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 4. The Yorkshire Post states that of 20,000 bales of Australian wool purchasf'i] by Austria the price for nine thousand will be. on the basis of the prices at the last London sales, four thousand on the basis of the first London auctions in 1921, four thousand on the basis of the second series, and the remainder on the basis of*the third series. Poland is also negotiating for llio purchase of wool.
