OILLOK 'S FALL. DUNEDIN, 'Nov. 2. At the Supreme Court to-day, Matthew Bradley, aged 52, cx-city councillor, was charged with committing " serious assault on a girl under sixteen years of age. The jury, after an absence of forty minutes, returned with a verdict of guilty. Mr. Justice Sim, in passing sentence, said that in view 63 the fact that accused took advantage of his position as 'the employer o"£ the prosecutrix, he would inflict the maximum penalty of five years.
