MARTON STOCK SALE. The New Zealand Farmers' Co-op. • Distributing Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale in their Marton yards on Monday, Ist instant. A good entry of sheep and 250 head of cuttle came forward to a good attendance of buyers. There was a firmer enquiry for hoggets in wool. All cattle sold well, especially empty dairy heifers, for which there was very keen demand. We quote as follows: Good ewe hoggets, 27s lOd; good wether hoggets, 27s (id: six and eight-tooth wethers, 6d; prime fat ewes, '3Bs; empty ewes, 23s lid; Shorthorn cross empty 18-month dairy heifers, £S 10s; yearling ditto, £5 10s to £6 12s 0 1,: good yearling Hoist sin heifers, £7 to £9 5s fid; yearling steers, £4 6s to £0 Ss;. 15month steers, £7 to £8 ss; .springing Shorthorn heifers, £ll 10s and £ls; empty store cows, £7 4s to ■£B ,25.;-, fat ( cows, to £lO 10s. r y .
