BRITISH COAL STRIKE! DIVIDED OPINION. j LONDON, October 30. | The South Wales Miners' Federation also the 'Lancashire executive, 'is advising the miners to reject the settlement terms. Yorkshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire executives are advising acceptance. Derbyshire has taken a neutral attitude. It is confidently forecasted that a majority of the miners will favour resumption.
