The TageblaU states that British officers on the inter-Allied Commission confiscated a new aeroplane belong to the Aerial Traffic Company, on the ground that it was a camouflaged military machine.

SEAL HUNTING WITH AIRSHIPS

Four airships have left for Newfoundland, and will be employed in the early spring seal hunting in the North Atlantic. They are fitted with wireless, and will scout a great expanse of ocean, seeking seal herds which every year drive down on the ice from the Far North, instead ot trusting to luck as they have done hitherto. Sealing ships will now receive aerial information enabling them to intercept seats Without loss of trine. When the sealing is over, the airships will be used for jwrest surveys and patrol work.

The Now York Herald’s financial correspondent learns that, the National Bank has consumated the purchase of five million dollars worth of gold in Australia, part of which is already en route to America, the remainder coming in November or December. The correspondent adds that the venture is expected to be profitable and to open the path to the subsequent acquisition nf gold.
