TAIHAPE CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING.

At the annual meeting of the Taihape Tennis Club the report and balance sheet showed that the past season had been a successful one. The report showed that £ls 15/ was out* standing as subs due by members, and regretted that so many members should expect a season’s tennis for nothing. The courts require attention, and the matter will be dealt with by the incoming committee. The membership was satisfactory, but a lack of enthusiasm was evident. The balance-sheet showed that the credit balance had been increased from £23 to £26 11/4. The following officers for the year were elected:—President, Mr P. 8,. Wakeman; vice-president, Mr F. J. Hintz; secretary and treasurer, Mr R. C. Ongley; committee Messrs W. J. Munro, T. C. (Kincaid, and A, Thomson; auditor, Mr C. Masters.
