—o BRITAIN'S TRADE BIG JUMP IN SEPTEMBER. LONDON, October 8. Britain’s September imports totalled £152,692,3339, being tm increase ’of £4,103,767 over September, 1919. Exports totalled £117,455,913, and re-ex-ports £13,350,608, a decrease of £2,398,070. The principal increases in im--ports were grain and flour £13,225/725, and manufactured oils, fats, and resins £3,980,683. The decreases were: Raw coHton, £7,225,283; raw oilseed, nuts, etc., £7,836,189; leather and manufactures thereof, £3,760,124: meat £3,623,691. Increases in exports were: Cotton yarns and manufactures, £19,9.19,554 vehicles, including locomotives, ships and aircraft, £6,680,359; iron and steel and manufactures thereof, £5,439,273; woollen worsted yams and manufactures, j £3,627,614. MEASLES ON LINER, Received 10 a.m. LONDON, October 10. The Orvieto has arrived from Sydney with twenty-nine cases of measles. There were a few deaths among i f ho children.
