Yesterday the Ladies' Old Girls' and lluia teams met in the Cup final ana", as was anticipated, a good game resulted. The Old Girfs won the toss and defended the southern goal in the first half. From start to finish the game was fast and interesting, and the general standard of hockey was good. In the first spell the Huias scored one goail and the Old Girls two goals. On changing over the Hu|as made several attempts to even upVthe score j and kept up the pressure throughout the spell, but the shooting was bad and /the Old Girls' defence good. The game ended: Old Giif s 2, Huia 1., the Old Girls winning the Cup. Messrs Harris and Connell gave every satisfaction as referees.
