INDIAN JUTE CROP. , CALCUTTA, Sept. .19. The jute crop is officially estimated to amount to (5,500,000 bales, the smallest since 1903, and forty per cent, below the highest recorded in 1914. It is anticipated that no raw material will be available for oxjport. DUTCH EAST INDIES. AMSTERDAM, Sept. 19. The Minister for the Colonies introduced a Bill in Parliament increasing export duties on nearly all staple products of the D.u'.iCh East Indies, also imposing direct taxes on sugar, coffee, tea and cinchona bark.
