THE KING’S
“THIS HERO STUFF.’
He was really a hero, but,, nevertheless, the admiring plaudits of the public got ou his nerves to such an extent that he felt he must do something to rid himself of the unenviable hero reputation. “This Hero Stuff” featuring William Russe'-l as the hero in the case, has for a theme the fact, that while a man may wear out a welcome, so a welcome may wear out a man. There is plenty of humour in this comedy, and also some quick action in which William Russell puts up some good examples of how to deal with crooks. Beautiful Mary Thurman has a prominent part, and this '•late Mack Sennett favourite shows that she has versatility that extends beyond the demands of slapstick comedy.
The Mary Page serial will also unfold its profound mysteries and introduce some further intense situations into this serial of serials. This programme will be shown to-night only.
