THE TROUBLE tN PERSIA. / FIGHTING AT TABRIZ. DELHI- Sept. 18. There has been a fight for the possession of Tabriz, the centre of rebel activity. The newly-uppoiir ed Persian Governor of Tabriz was not recognised by the Democrats on arrival. Sending Cossacks into Tabriz to attack the Democrats, the now Governor remained outside the town. The Cossacks defeated the Democrats, wounding a hundred and killing fifty, including the notorious sheik who had been dictator' pn -Tabriz sijwys th* spring. After capturing the enemies’ guns and ammunition, the Cossacks took possession of the town, which is reported. :o b> quiet.
