THE TROUBLE IN CHINA. ~3 MONARCHIST PLOT FEARED. Received 9.50 a.m. WASHINGTON, Sept. 9. Advices from Peking state that the Republicans fear a Monarchist plot. Cha»g Tsoling, Inspector-General in Manchuria, is inclined to support the restoration of the Manchu Emperor. It i s reported that the daughter of the Chinese President is to wed the Emperor, and if the attempt to restore the Monarchy succeeds, the President will become Prince-Regent.
