A WATERSIDE AGREEMENT.
MELBOURNE, Slept. 6. As the -result of a conference between shipowners and the Watersi dors ' Federation and dispute regardiny -overtime has been settled. It has been arranged that men in future shall apply for work at the ship’s side instead of being engaged at the Labour Bureau. THE NEWCASTLE TROUBLE. SYDNEY, Sept. 7. The Newcastle coal trimmers decline to work after four o’clock, compelling the cranemen at the coalloading appliances to cease also.
