RUSSIA AND POLAND.
POLAND AND LITHUANIA. NEGOTIATIONS BROKEN OFF. HOSTILITIES COMMENCED. Received 9.15 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 6. It is reported that negotiations for frontier re-arrangement and future relations between Poland and Lithuania have been broken off, owing to the outbreak .of hostilities. Eacn side accuses the other of crossing the frontier. Polish circles in London assert that the Poles only occupied territories that were recognised as Polish by the Supreme Council, and they complain that Lithuania is being used as a rallying ground by the Red armies. ALLEGED TREASON. Received 9.30 a.m. COPENHAGEN. Sept. 6. According to the Berlin Vossische Zeitung’s Posen correspondent, reserve troops occupied the railway station and other buildings at Graudenz. with the object of driving out the Poles but the Polish cavalry iooh four hundred of them prisoners. These will be charged with treason. An early rising is expected from eight thousand troops in Posen, where the Polish leader Dmowsl?y is slated fo have been plotting a coup-d’etat against Hie Moscow Government.
