HOCKEY.
The following are the games to Be played on Thursday on the Recreation. Ground at 3 p.m.:—Ladies: Huia v.. School. This an interesting game as the' School are .a, greatly improved team and drew with the Old Girls when they played them., and the Huias will have to show improved form if they want to win. Mens:—Dinks v. Pspteha Bath:] these teams want a win to-morrow to be in the running for the Shield, and an interesting game should result. A collection will be taken at the gate to assist the local Union funds. As teams are coming here shortly from Tanmaraunui, Feilding, and Wellington, it is hoped the public will assist the Union by attending the. mat--ches.
The following will represent the Dinkum's in their match to-morrow at 3 p.m.:—Johnston, Dashwood, Goodhard. Beechy, Healcy, Eteveneaux, McLaughlan, McDiarmfd Ormond; Killx-nlly. Sinclair.
