THE NEW DANDIES.
The New Dandies will appear at the Town Hal! on Wednesday next. Their season in' the south has been one of continued success, the company having appeared for six weeks at the Concert •Chamber of the Town Hall, Wellington while their performances in Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill and other towns,are said to have elicited the Utmost praise from the southern press. In Wellington their entertainment was hnder the patronage of Her Excellency the Countess of Liverpool and suite. The personnel of the company includes Hazel Fuller, lyrio soprano, who will be favourably remembered by mus-ic-lovers in Taihape, Victoria Young, contralto, who *Ts the possessor of a voice of great beauty; Annette Lang,
an English, danseuse, who presents original songs and comedy imitations oi various types in dance form. Miriam Kutner’s songs at the piano are quite a feature of the entertainment. The other is Will Cotte-rill, who was with, the original “Kiwis” soldier entertainers in France and England; Bean Millar, the Dandies ’ favourite basso, makes a welcome re-appearance in an entirely new repertoire. The comedian is George Searratt, who is an English artist with a great reputation, and whose original work is said to have received the utmost praise from the press in other parts of the Do minion. Kennedy Black is the musical director of the company. The bos jftan is at Pratt’s.
