MEAT TRUST MENACE.
A TAIHAPE RESOLUTION. At a largely attended* meeting of farmers yesterday under the auspices iof the N.Z. Co-operative Distributing Company, Ltd., the following resolution was moved by Mr G| L. Marshall ana seconded by Mr G. Gilchrist, and was carried unanimously:— "That this meeting of farmers views with alarm the efforts now being made to urge the Government to grant a meat trading 11- - cense in New Zealand to Armour and Co., and would strongly urge the Government to do all within its power to keep combines such as the Meat Trust from operating in New Zealand/'
