DANCE AT BENNETT'S SIDING.

The social aud dance held at Beunett's Siding last night in aid of the Botfield Benefit Fund, was a great' success in every way. A large number of people, made the trip from Taihape by motor-car and lo.rry, and the gathering was thoroughly representative of the district. The music was supplied by Mesrs. -S. Dash and Brothers (piano), G. Brice and J. Tiinbs (cornet), asd H. Hartley and Buckley (violin). During the evening a recitation by Mr. F. McSweeney and a song by Mr. Brogden were greatly appreciated. Mr. E. Anderson officiated as M.C. The use. of the motor lorries was IrindHy donated without any charge by Messrs. , G. Forbes and McElwaui. The whole arrangements were excellent and were well, carried out, everyone~pneSent enjoying 'themselves thoroughly.
