REMOVAL OF LONDON CHURCHES.
The City Churches Commission appointed by the Bishop -of London has put forward very drastic proposals, involving the removal of 19 city churches‘, Whose capital site value alone is quoted on high authority as Worth £1,695,620. Most important in reconstruction proposals is that the square mile of the city shall be div-
ided into quarters with Old London names. Each will be a. parish with a. rector and ‘four assistant clergy.
