THE BELK-WHITTLE CUP.

The following are the results of the last two shoots for the Belk-Whittle Cup (ten birds):———N. P. Spooner 17, C. Timbs 16, G. Bell; 15, H. Belk 14, J. Whittle 14, A, Clinton 13, S. Peyton 11, J. Ozanne 11, J. Thurston 11, E. McLa.ughlan 10, S. J. Timbs 7, J. Mortland 7, J. Robertson 7, and T; Bradley 6. The four last-named competitors have only competed in one shoot_ The third shoot will be held on Thursqay on Beban’s Hill. Tho"e are still three shoots to go in connection with this competition: On Thursday evening the cfovmmitterr will meet to receive the balance-sheet in connection with the recent £IOO shoot.

Under the auspices at’ the New Zea]and Gun Club's Association the live» pigeon championiship of New Zea.lan'd was shot foi at Rangiofi to—da.y. G. Bruere ,of Rangiora, grassed all the birds‘ ,and‘ won the match. H. Clinch, D. F .Dennehy, F_ Whittle and W. A. Parsons each shot twenty birds and divided the balance‘ Qf the stake. There were fifty-five competitors.
