LONDON. Aug. 3.
A Beirut message states that }French troops severely defeated a large for-ce of Turkish Nationalists at ‘Yemide. The "rum. with numerous guns. fought fierce-13'. The French made six b:-Iyonet charges. Four hundred Nat-io~llalisf.s were killed and 250 prisoriered, including German officers. The victory has greatlydmproved the situation.
