NEGOTIATING" .AN ARMISTICE. WARSAW, Aug. 1. The Polish armistice delegates met the Bolshevist delegates on the Brest Litovsk-Baranovitchi road on Friday evening. The French military mission '.u Warsaw reports that the Bolshevists and Germans arc negotiating aft Suwalki. General- Haller has ta.ken over command of the northern group of the Polish armies. This is the first step in the reorganisation of the Polish army. French officers have assumed control of all the important technical services.
It is semiofficially stated thai the German Government asked the Peace Conference speedily to reply to the request for permission to take the necessary measures to maintain neutrality on the Eastern frontier, and bas requested the Entente to provide shipping ito transfer the interned Polish roops to the interior of Germany. SOVIET SYMPATHISERS. LONDON, Aug. 1. A meeting at Cannon Street Hotel., attended by 154 persons, mostly youths and girls, founded a British Communistic party, demanding the creation of Soviets, the Bed Guards, and a world revolution.
