TAIHAPE STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham htkl Williams, Ltd., report at Taihape on Wednesday we had a good yarding of sheep and a snia 1 entry of cattle. Competition for .sheep was keen and a total clearance was effected. The quality of the cattle was poor but sold well. Quota-rions:—Two-tooth wethers 37/2, small 2-tooth (small) 30/6, empty 2-tooth ewes 33/6 and 34/1, small 2-.tooftb ewes 22/.'},, empty ewes 30/6, 4-tooth ewes in la nib 4.3/6, m.a. ewes in lamb 28/-. 32/-, to 32/9, small hoggets 26/. rams 20/6, 2-year Jersey steers £5 10/ empty 2year heifers £6 9/ yearling heifers £4 8/6.
(.'LEAKING SALE AT BULLS. The X.Z. Farmers' Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd.. report having held a highly successful clearing sale at Brandon Hall Road, Bulls, on account: of Mr E. Gr. McDeruiott. There was an exceptiona ly large attendance of farmers and others interested, a large number of outside buyers -were also present who secured a large quantity of the stuck. The sheep beiu|g all wcil-bivd were in ktfoU demand, the 2-tootb ewes which realised 53/6 were secured by a Kaetihi buyer. Dairy cows sold up to .£35, and horses and implements were all keeiry competed for.
