CHARGE OF MURDER.
HAWEK, This Day. Following upon the discovery of the body of a newly-born child in an artificial lake, on a private properly, the police arrested Mary Oyston McGregor, aged eighteen, charging her with murdering, about duly 4th. her infant female child. She was brought before a Justice of the Peace and remanded. in custody till to-morrow.
