CESARONI CONCERT.

The Cesaroni concert announced for the Town Hall to-night, will be looked forward to with the keenest pleasure by all music lovers, not only on account of the world-wide reputation of the principal, but because every member of the combination with him is an artist of reputation. Seldom if ever has such a brilliant collection of musical talent toured the Dominion, possibly never before has Taihape been promised such a genuine musical treat. Cesaroni’s magnificent basso is of a very rare quality, and he invariably Scores an ovation. The company’s recent season in the Town Hall, Auckland, was a continuous triumph. Of the other members of the party, Ivan Tarheeff, the Russian tenor, is declared by those who have heard hifh as one of the finest tenors who have visited the Dominion. A ,13-year-old child prodigy, Gladys Vincent, a brilliant violinist, has made a wonderful impression and roused the warmest enthusiasm in town after town. Miss Vera Carew, a soprano of high class, and Miss Rose Walton, described as the Australian Margaret Cooper, who supplies the lighter touches in a budi get of songs at the piano, round off quite an exceptional combination, which should draw a crowded house.
