CESARONNI.
The announcement is made to-day thap Cessaronni, an eminent Italian operatic basso who first appeared in the Dominion as a member of the Gonsalez Opera Company, will sing in the Town Hall next Wednesday evening. Although Cosaronni has not previously been heard locally, yet his reputation as a vocalist of rare merit is well known to all who take more than a passing interest in singers of the day.
Not only as a prominent member of the opera company just has Cesaronni established himself, but later as an artist of the Cappelli Concert Company lie was acknowledged as a master of vocalisation and interpretation. Cesaronni is an artist wlm has secured Lis credentials in the leading countries of tbe world. He has appeared extensively in the various capitals and both in grand opera and concert work the critics have bestowed on him the highest encomiums. Cesaronx’s great success has been repeated in the Commonwealth and New Zealand and the advent locally of this sterling artist should attract a very large audience next Wednesday night.
