At the. Addington market, the yard,ing was ‘smaller than usual in; (all classes, excepting fat. cattle. There was an advance in .~:.tore sheep and cattle prices, and fat sheep reached the highest falues since last season. Store sheep values were about 2/ a head in advance of last weel:’s quotafions. Wether hoggets 23/10 to 28/3, mixed sex hoggets 24/6 to 29/», ewe hoggets 28/1 to 29/6, cull hoggets 16/3 ‘to 19/3, fairly good 2,4, 6,°and 8-tooth ewes in lamb 36-6, illfel?ioar do. 18/ to 24/, aged ewes 16/ to 22/5; '5-year-old ewes in lamb to 29/, 4tooth wethers 33/6; infen}-1' 2 and 4-tooth wethers 2:7/6.
Fat Sheep.—The smallest. yarding of 3the season, and the presence of several country butchers stimulated competition, the m-.l.rke’t jumping ‘for prime quality muiton by 6/ {.O 8/ a. head, and in cases brought‘ near 11d per lb. Extra. prime wethers 57/6 to 68/6, prime wethers 47/6 to 56/, medium wetliers 42/6 to 45/, lighter Wethers 33/6 to 40/, extra prime ewes 54/ to 67/6, ptrime ewes 45/ (co '52/6, medium ewes 37/6 to 43/6, light. and unfinished [ewes 26/6‘ tf) 36/, }ex’tra. prime hoggefts 43/10, prime hoggets 31/6 to 37/, lighter hoggets 26/ to 31/. Fat Cat.tle.—-The yarding~eomp.rised maintained throughout. Extra prime steers to £37 5/, prime steers £22 to £2B 15/, medium steers £l6 to £2l, light and unfinished £l2 to £ls 10/, prime heifers £l3 15/ to £l6, medium £lO to £l3 10/. Vealers were in short’ supply, and there was a. good demand for prime quality. Runners to £9 12/6, good vealers £6 17/6, medium £4, in.ferior £1 10/, newly-dropped calves 6/.
Store Ce§t‘t.le.—A small yarding, the market showing a decided improvement Forward 4 and 5-year steers to £ls 6/, 3-year steersg£l2 10/, 2% to 3-year heifers £8 10/ to £9 5/, rising 2-year heifers £5 to £6. _

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd._. report as follows:—-Our regular fortnightly sale was held yesterday, when a large catalogue was submitted to the usua'l full attendance of buyers. We have again to report what must be regarded as- a very satisfactory sale. Although prices in some instances‘ were down :1 fr” ‘pence, values all round were very "tle below last Sales’ rates. and the .~..2e must be considered quite a good one.
